Nano's Salon is
one of the most recent additions to Karachi's beauty market.
However, the force behind Nano's is no novice; in fact
Saeeda Effendi became one of the pioneers of Pakistan's
beauty and fashion industry when she started her career as
hairdresser and beautician in the 70s. Together with her
best friend Azra, they joined to compliment each other's
strengths with the aspiration to offer quality beauty care
to Pakistan's elite clientele. They held the first hair
show in Pakistan in 1980 as well as multiple fashion shows.
With their constant focus on perfection, the names Saeeda
and Azra became synonymous with glamour and innovation.
Today the ethos of Saeeda and Azra has been reborn under the
brand Nano's.
STYLE & SERVICES
The salon
embodies the same detail and innovation as Saeeda and Azra
possess, but with a modern updated flair. Given Saeeda's
talents and experience, Nano's Salon is sure to stand out among the
expansive variety of beauty outlets. The
calm, minimalistic yet elegant atmosphere of the salon and an
extremely well trained team of stylists are attentive to
clients needs and aware of the latest innovative styles and
techniques. Working under the
supervision of Saeeda, they are trained and guided, paying
special attention to detail and the specific requests of
each client. The salon
specializes in cuts, blow-drys, bridal and evening make up.
All the other salon facilities include facials, manicure and
pedicures and more.
HISTORY & INSPIRATION
Having begun in
Saeeda's mothers apartment, the name is an affectionate
homage to her children's "nano" and to the nano she has
become to her grandchildren. Interestingly enough, the
Nano's brand is also a successful Hydrabad food initiative
with their specialties being offered at Agha's Supermarket
and from their new outlet. However, it was only a matter of
time before Saeeda returned to her first love of beauty,
hence Nano's Salon was born.
